Coby CVE92 Isolation Stereo Earphones
I find them nice… but are costly… I bought them for emergency… I though its worth it…
After couple of months, earphones stopped working… As, the item is in gaurentee period, I sent them back to company… There wasn’t any positive response from the company… I lost the item and I wasted shipping charges to return it… Pure waste of time…
Recommendation: DON’T BUY

…you have small ears (they tend to fall out easily)
…lots of ear wax (they get gross quickly)

Well, I’ve ordered a few times from Amazon and have always received my items in good shape, on time, good condition, you name it. But this time… it wasn’t the case. I never even received my headphones.. not even the second time around. I don’t know what happened, but my address was indeed correct (i had ordered another item the same day and that had arrived), my apartment office did not have it, of course it was not in my mailbox, and none of my neighbors accidentally had it.
When that happened the first time, i contacted amazon about the issue since they hadn’t arrived by the estimated date, and they told me they’d send it a second time with one day shipping and if the other one ever arrived to just send it back, and sorry for the inconvenience.. ok well, that one hadn’t arrived either.. it was the same issue. I don’t know what the hell happened or who’s fault it was but i ended up paying for nothing.
So really, I can’t give a review of the product since it never showed up.. i ended up going to the store and finally just buying myself new headphones (which ended up costing alot more than these).
Amazon said they’d look into the problem, but that was almost a month ago and i haven’t heard from then since..

What was I thinking buying Coby? My Ipod no longer works just because I pluged them in. Muddy sound at its best.

The earphones are comfortable, they are relatively cheap, and that’s about all they have going for them. I’m not an audio snob, but the sound quality that these headphones produce isn’t worth the asking price. I couldn’t find an EQ setting that made them sound good enough to keep.
